# **Overview**

Biz Core allows subscribers to manually configure each of their loan products to send statements on the 1st of every month. Users also have the functionality to manually send statements to customers as required.

# **Automatically Send Statements**

By default, loan products are configured to automatically email statements to customers at the start of every month. Users can toggle this setting off by first using the sidebar to navigate to **Settings → Lending Module**:

From here, locate the loan product the user wants to adjust and click the **Pencil **✏️ icon attached to it:

Use the **Send loan statements?** toggle in the **Product** tab to enable or disable the feature:

# **Manually Send Statements**

Users can generate loan statements manually as required, the system will be create them in a .pdf format allowing them to be downloaded or printed from the portal to facilitate mailing them to customers. Alternatively, manually created statements can be emailed directly from Biz Core to the address stored on the customer record.

In order to generate a loan statement, from the loan record click the **Send Loan Statements **▶️** **icon above the Loan Summary, then confirm by clicking **Yes** in the popup window:

A preview of the loan statement will then open in a PDF viewer window, click the **SEND** button to email the statement to the customer:

Alternatively, use the **Download **⬇️ or **Print **🖨️ icons at the top of the PDF viewer to either export or print the statement from Biz Core:

Users can also generate manual statements directly from the Workspace by clicking on the **More Options** **⋮** icon, then clicking **Send Loan Statements **▶️:
