# **Overview**

A funds transfer refers to when funds move from one account to another, this can be a debit or a credit. For a transaction to be Complete, in most cases, a debit and a credit funds transfer will have been made.

> 📝 However, for example, subscribers who use Payrix as a payment provider will not see credit funds transfers on their Biz Core transactions. This is because Payrix handles their own Settlement Payouts and you would receive the funds directly from them.

For example, to process a $100 payment from your customer the following funds transfers would occur:

| **Funds Transfer Type** | **Amount** | **Fee** | **Total Amount** | **Note** |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Debit (DR) | $100 | $1.99 (Transaction Fee) | $101.99 | From customer → Biz Core |
| Credit (CR) | $100 | $1.99 (Settlement Fee) | $98.01 | From Biz Core → Subscriber (you) |

It’s important to note that if multiple customer debits are settled on the same day, these amounts are grouped and processed as a single credit, and only one Settlement Fee is charged.

For example, if 3 payments were settled:

| **Funds Transfer Type** | **Amount** | **Fee** | **Funds Transfer Amount** | **Note** |
| --- | --- | --- | --- | --- |
| Debit (DR) | $100 | $1.99 (Transaction Fee) | $101.99 | From customer → Biz Core |
| Debit (DR) | $50 | $1.99 (Transaction Fee) | $51.99 | From customer → Biz Core |
| Debit (DR) | $50 | $1.99 (Transaction Fee) | $51.99 | From customer → Biz Core |
| Credit (CR) | $200 | $1.99 (Settlement Fee) | $198.01 | From Biz Core → Subscriber (you) |

You can see funds transfer records by expanding the Transactions Workspace result, or the ledger entry on the Payment Agreement.

Biz Core always credits your subscription via the ABA process. So if there are successful Card and ABA Process (aka direct debit) debit funds transfers, these will be bundled into a single credit funds transfer via the ABA process 2 business days later.

> 📝 While direct debits are credited 2 businesses days after the transaction date, card debits are credited a full 48 hours later.
> 📝
> 📝 This means that card payments made on the same day may not be included in the same credit funds transfer.
> 📝
> 📝 Let’s take a quick look at what this looks like in practice:
> 📝
> 📝 Biz Core processes Settlement Payouts (which are a credit funds transfer) at 9am. So a card payment made 2 business days prior before 9am will be included, but card payments made on the same day after 9am will not make the Settlement Payout for that day, they will instead be included in the following business days Settlement Payout.

Click on the date to show an itemised list of funds transfers.
