# **Overview**

With the ledger header, users can finetune what information is displayed in any loan ledgers by showing or hiding specific types of [entries](https://bizcore.refined.site/space/BCKB/1807974424/Loan+Ledger#Ledger-Entry-Types) and defining date ranges to filter entries. Users can also save customised configurations for quick access to preferred subsets of ledger types.

# **Using the Ledger Header**

From within any loan record, users can customise their preferred ledger configuration from the header:

Prior to changing any fields the ledger will default to displaying all entries, including fees, payments, scheduled payments and interest, however users have options to customise what is shown on the ledger, each option is explained below:

- **Ledger Types: **Select from the dropdown menu which entry types should be shown in the loan ledger, each [ledger type is explained here](https://bizcore.refined.site/space/BCKB/1807974424/Loan+Ledger#Ledger-Entry-Types).
- **Transaction Statuses: **If Payment ledgers are selected in the **Ledger Types** field, users will have the option to show or hide transactions depending on their Status. If this field is left empty all transaction statuses will be shown.
- **Ledger Date From/To: **Users have the option to define a date range for viewing ledger entries by inputting the earliest date, the latest date, or both. Or click the **Calendar **🗓️ icon to use the date picker.
- **Sort By: **Users can sort their ledger entries by the date the entry was created, or the cleared date. Cleared date refers to the date the funds landed in the subscriber’s account (accounting date).

> 📝 If Cleared Date is selected, the ledgers will NOT change the loan balance stored on the ledger. This will mean that the balance will appear to be out of order when sorting by Cleared Date.

Users can configure their desired ledger by utilising a combination of the fields outlined above:

# **Biz Core Classic Ledger Layout**

Users who prefer to configure their ledger to remain the same as the classic Biz Core layout should use the following settings in the **Ledger Types **dropdown menu, and leave the other fields unchanged:
